How do you edit source of webpage in IE8??

Reason I went to IE from Netscape many many years ago was then on IE when you chose VIEW>SOURCE it used Notepad and you could edit the page.

Now IE8 it doesn't use Notepad and you can't edit.

Thanks.

I wanted to use Notepad and I found out how to switch the editor used when you select VIEW>SOURCE

Open Internet Explorer

2. Press the F12 button to start the Developer Tools

3. From the File menu, click Customize Internet Explorer View Source

4. Select one of the following options:

Default Viewer
Notepad
Other

Edit Text in a Webpage with Internet Explorer 8-

1. This opens the developer tools.
2. Advertisement.
3. In the developer tools window, the element you selected before is now highlighted.
4. Now, click the text you wish to change, and enter what you wish in the box.
5. Go back to IE to see the changes on the page!
6. You can also change a link on a page this way:
