Hi Everyone:

What do you use HTML for?

I am new to HTML and slowly getting comfortable with using it for my blog and my boss's website. Kind of fun!

The acronym HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language - the primaryprogramming language used to write content on the Web.

An example of HTML.

<b> at the beginning of a word you want to appear bold, </b> at the end of the word. They use it to make text different colors too.

I was thinking about taking a refresher course in HTML 101 at VU. It's been a long time since I used code rather than Front Page. I thought I would tackle CSS but I was very rusty with the code. Are there any good programs like Front Page available now? I'm still using my old Front Page. I know about Dreamweaver but have not used it.

I started off with Front Page and remember loving it until I started using Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver definitely has a steeper learning curve than FP. These days I'm using Wordpress which allows me to use a lot of what learned from the other two but with a lot less work. LOL
