When it comes to the temperature of your desserts which do yo prefer more than the other?
Posted By: chloe21 Re: Warm or Cold Desserts? - 03/01/08 05:30 PM
I voted for the cold. Peanut Butter Pie with chocolate chips straight out of the freezer would have to be my favorite.
However, I certainly wouldn't turn down a hot dessert either. grin

WOW Chloe, that sounds awesome UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
I also love apple crumble and custard though smile
Do you have a recipe for that pie?

When possible, warm.

Warm pie, warm cake, warm cookies, warm brownies... yeah, most of my favorites are best on the warm side.

It really depends on the season!

I am in New England so in the middle of winter a slice of hot apple pie is the best while in the summer a slice of cold and chilly ice cream cake tickles my fancy.

How about warm apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream?

Phyllis.. that sounds perfect... even better... a butter pecan ice cream and drizzled with a caramel sauce ;0)

Yummy, but i gave up all bad foods on Jan 1st, so now i can only dream.
Hot fudge sundae WAS one of my favorites

What is butter pecan icecream? It sounds good.

OMG butter pecan ice cream... Oh my... you are so missing out on this ice cream. Hagendaus (however you spell that name) sells one of the best. it is a butter ice cream with pecan chunks in it. It is sooooooo addicting

Ahhh! thankyou Jase. I will look out for it!

i do wish I could get a nice sticky toffee pudding here though. i have not had a decent one since I was last in England over 10 years ago

Yea, sticky toffee pud is good, with cream or custard. I will try to fond a recipe when I do my English Food article. Should be in about a month or so! smile

I didn't vote...because it depends on the type of dessert. Tiramisu from a local Ethiopian (yeah....who'dve thunk it!) cold.....gulab jamoons at the local Indian buffet - warm.
