Hi to all the sweet-tooth people with no time to bake!

Here is a recipe for a sweet that goes really well with strong black coffee at the end of a great meal or at anytime you need to quell a sweet-need attack.

This mix will make about 20 balls.

2 cups store-bought muesli briefly blitzed in a food processor, use one without raisins)
1 packet soft dried apricots or peaches
1/4 cup syrup (Lyles if you can find it)
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 cup fresh desiccated coconut

Combine all ingredients until it all clings together, roll into walnut-size balls and coat with the desiccated coconut.

If they last long enough, store them in an airtight container.

Easy to make and a taste sensation!

Cheers

Lestie, I did my own variation of this for the Sandwiches Site. These are perfect as a part of a sandwich meal. I was the only one eating them, so they lasted about 2 weeks in the fridge. So good to the last little bitty bite. Thanks for the idea. Your creativity is amazing!
