I had so much fun writing today's article for the Alaska site! For some reason, I was struggling with the construction of the article as I had conceived it in my head. Even though it was a perfectly good topic and I'm sure other people would have been interested as well, it just wasn't jelling for me. No idea why.

So, what ended up being so much FUN?

Well, as it turned out, my topic decided to morph into something entirely different and I finally just decided to go with it. In the end, it still has the very same title! The article came together in less than 45 minutes - I guess it was "in my head" the whole time. Don’t you just hate it when that happens? My topic got hi-jacked! Hopefully, it will still end up being "just the right thing" for someone who is planning on traveling to Alaska next summer! Enjoy Three Bears Alaska

Oh boy, do I love bears. The furry kind. The Bear was one of my favorite movies for a long time.

Been chased by a bear in a nightmare I had as a child, and I ran away. The second time was near Panorama ski resort and my sister-in-law and I were out walking when a black bear came ambling up the hill behind us. We did the first thing they tell you not to do: run.

But I can imagine that Three Bears Alaska is a lifeline to many communities. A place to meet up and chat after hibernating during long winters and bad road conditions. I checked out their flyer and am impressed. Good article.
