I've been watching "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" and just developing a major crush on Detective Goren.
This guy is so intelligent, quirky, good looking, and big - I just love him! (I hit 5'8" in the 6th grade, I always had to date guys shorter than me until I got to college, so i have this thing for really tall and big guys.)
So what character from a TV show would you want to go out with?
is that the new detective? Cause if it is I would so date him ;0)
On Law and Order - the late Jerry Orbach (in person and the character he played) was my type.
Honestly - Frasier Crane would be someone I would date (played by Kelsey Grammer).
Chandler from Friends, I like sarcastic, intelligent, funny guys. And Sawyer from Lost, I like bad boys too.
I love Goren - he's the original CI detective.
Date... Nick Stokes from CSI; Sam from Supernatural; all the brothers from Brothers & Sisters; Jack, Sayid, Desmond from Lost... and probably many more.
Jerry Orbach was cool.
Can I date a Time Lord, I think I want Dr. Who, like all the new regenerations of him. LOL, YUM!
I like the guy on New Amsterdam. He's really cute and kind of sensitive. Guess living all those years taught him a thing or two.
Oooo! I almost forgot - I want Sheriff Jack Carter from "Eureka", too!
I love Jack! You know the guy from dirty jobs really reminds me of him a lot.
ok, Capt. Jack from torchwood, Ianto from torchwood, John from New Amsterdam, Henry from Bloodties, Mick from Moonlight, the sherriff from Eureka, and Dr. Who (the current one).
I am a slut.. I admit it LOL
do any of you guys watch gossip girl? i would definitely go on a date with Chace Crawford! "Nate Archibald" in gossip girl is the boyfriend of Blair Waldorf! i just love the movie so much!
This is fun...ok here it is and hopefully you know who this is, I would love to date Capt Johnathan Hillstrand(Time Bandit ship) on Deadliest Catch. Now just have to figure out what to tell my husband, hahahahahaha.
Yes, Capt Jack looks like some fun.
Did you guys start up a game of Shag/Marry/Kill while I wasn't looking? That's what I get for staying away from my own forum :-).
I'll do mine on NCIS. I'd shag Gibbs because we know he can't stay married long. I'd marry McGee because I think a geek would make a loyal husband. I'd kill off the Shepard character because she doesn't add much to the show.
Next!
Auuuugghhh!
I had never heard of this game! Ok, ok, I'm in...
Since I mentioned "Eureka"
Shag - Nathan Stark, because he's dark and the "bad boy"
Marry - Sheriff Jack Carter, because he's adorable with a wonderful sense of humor
Kill - Beverly Barlowe, because she's sneaky, evil, and betrays everyone.
I was glad to see George Eads (Nick Stokes on CSI) on several lists, and he would definitely be in my top 5. When I went to visit my son in Vail, Colorado in February, George was on the bus we were on coming back from Beaver Creek ski slopes! I'm probably older than a lot of you here, so two on my top five would be Cary Grant and Clark Gable. Another would be Mark Harmon (Jethro Gibbs on NCIS) - I think he's much better looking now than he was in '86 when People Magazine named him "Sexiest Man Alive". Patrick Stewart (Jean Luc Picard on Star Trek Next Generation) rounds out the list of five....
P.S. Gibbs can't stay married because he hasn't met the right woman - I think if his wife and daughter hadn't been killed he would still be married to her...
Kathi, I agree! I always knew Mark Harmon was good-looking, but I never thought of him as handsome until I started watching NCIS. The greying hair really does it for me!
The characters I would....LOL
Anthony Bourdain (not a character but...yum!)
Lex Luthor on Smallville - only as Lex as I have seen him with hair and he is not as sexy then!
Luke and Logan from the Gilmore Girls
Howie Mandel
Mike Rowe
Wow! More than I thought.
Hope my honey doesn't see this - I might be banned from watching TV!

I had a big crush on Van Johnson, even though I'm not old enough to have seen any of his movies while they were in theaters
Definitely Dexter..... just kidding!
Martin Fitzgerald from Without a Trace is played by Eric Close and he is fine! I remember him playing the perfect specimen of man on Now and Again back in 1999.
OOOOH great thread!!! OK - is Terminator: SCC primetime? i'm in the UK so have no idea..
Shag - Summer Glau - the robot thing is so attractive in a woman.
Marry - the FBI dude. hot.
Kill - Sarah Connor. She's way too annoying. OK, so they'd have to rename the programme but c'est la vie! (or c'est la mort i suppose)..
LOL SCC -
The EMT boyfriend/fiance - HOT HOT HOT
FBI guy - doable ;0)
oh yeah - i totally forgot about EMT man.. and you could do it in his ambulance for extra kink! hmm.. may have to review my answers.. :-)
I am not a big fan of SCC but I've seen enough of it to agree with you, Lauren. Sarah Connor is annoying and it is a shame that the show is named after her. Grey's Anatomy has a similar problem. Meredith Grey is my least favorite character but there is no way we can get rid of her!
Another person I wouldn't mind dating would be Jarod from the tv series The Pretender. That show ran from about 96 to about 2000. He was soo handsome and I loved his voice as well.
Oh yes! Talk about smart! What ever happened to him? I loved thast guy.
Here's a bad guy that I was always drawn to; Sherriff Lucas Buck from "American Gothic". True he was exceptionally evel, but man he was compelling and sexy!
I was talking with Bob about Jerry Orbach - how much he seems a "comfortable guy" I would love to have a friend. We looked him up on IMDB - his mom is Polish which is why I think he feels that way to me. I grew up with Ukrainians and people of that background give me that comfort feeling.
My boyfriend is half Polish.
I felt the same way about Charles Bronson (Charles Buchinski was his birth name) who was Lithuanian.
It always confused me when people would say those men weren't handsome. To me I like that kind of look.
I like the "solid will do what it takes to protect you" loyalty feeling.
