I have a basic Brother sewing machine (XL-3750) and the walking foot seems to stick at times when I'm quilting. It doesn't seem to matter how many layers I'm stitching through. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Curlytop

Hi Curlytop, my only suggestion is to take it back to where you purchased it, prefferably with the machine and get the salespeople to have a look at it. I don't think walking feet should EVER stick. Sounds like a faulty Walking Foot to me. What do others think?

Cheerio for now

Since I sometimes don't set things up properly, my first suggestions would be to make sure the foot is attached properly and the little arm is where it should be. If that is OK, I had a friend who added a drop of oil to the arm and that fixed it. Apparently is wasn't moving up and down smoothly and that's what caused the foot to stick.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried a squirt of compressed air and got out some lint and it seems to work fine now, Amazing what a little can of air can do! Curlytop
