Dear Tea Readers,
Hi! I'm checking in. Hoping this forum finds you healthy and happy amid this "shelter in place" time. Please follow all of the CDC and medical guidelines you have heard and seen. I did a quick blog post on my Lifestyles blog on making a very simple facemask, along with other sources of information if you need it. https://beautyisabeastthing.blogspot(dot)com/
Find happiness and joy as Spring is bringing the flowers and wildlife out to visit. Time to clean the garage, and the basement LOL and maybe read a book or write a poem with a cup of tea!
Please feel free to leave a check-in message here and let me know how you're spending your Spring.
Have a superior day.

We haven't quite managed "spring" yet here in Alaska, but we've got the social distancing and shelter-in-place bit down. The snow is finally making a serious effort at melting, but it'll be a while yet. With a strong, chilly wind today, the snow still on the ground has turned our driveway into a skating rink. On the bright side, I have absolutely no reason to drive out it.
Tea sounds good this evening. I'll have Chai.
Large quantities of peach tea please, a stroll in the sun when it shines, and my fingers on the keyboard as this is great time to be productive.
Dear DebFrost,
Thanks for checking in! Stay warm, enjoy Spring in the outdoors if you can, and continue to drink tea!
Talk to you soon!

Dear Monika R Canada,
Glad to hear all is well. I love peach tea in the summer on the patio hot in the morning and iced for dinner. Keep enjoying the sunshine, right now we're rainy, but the flowers are blooming beautifully. with all of my family being home, it's been tough to carve out writing time. But as of today, I stake my spot and territory. I hope to be "productive" in this department today.
Happy Spring!

doing well here and I'm hooked on Tetley British Blend. Crazy times though.
Dear Angie,
These times are so crazy! Glad to see you here and to hear you are well! I love the Tetley Brand, Good stuff. Do you drink your tea hot or cold?

Mostly hot but I love sweet iced tea.

Dear Angie,
I too mostly drink tea hot as well, but is really refreshing to have some ice cold iced tea on a hot day. I don't treat myself as much as I should by making myself my mom's special recipe iced tea.

Dear Readers,
Thoughts on the Coronavirus vaccine. It seems relieving. Stay masked up, practice social distancing, and always wash your hands with lather for at least the count of 20. I'm hoping all is well with you. Spend your holidays safely.

Dear Tea Readers,
I hope your holidays were nice, peaceful and that you were surrounded with love and laughter, whether via Zoom meeting or in face-to-face family gatherings.
I started this thread back in 2020, and I must say I cannot believe that it is still relevant in (now) January 2022! I hope all of you are well and managing during these times. Keep the tea flowing as we now go into our coldest times of winter here in the Midwestern United States, we try to boost our immunity as best we can.
With love and light.

Dear Angie,
Cheers to hoping we are coming out of this finally. Hang in there everyone.

Sure hope we are coming out of this cycle. Our trips over the past two years were all postponed. We hope to do some traveling this year.
I'm finishing up Sugar Plum and Christmas Berry Teas. For Christmas I received a bunch of boxes of Hickory Farms tea. I'll keep you posted. I could probably open a tea shop with what i have on hand.
Question for you. When Teavanna was bought out by Starbucks, who was the tea supplier? They had some of the most wonderful tea flavors. Starbucks doesn't sell tea or do they.
Dear Angie,
While I do not find myself at Starbucks that often, I do know that they do sell tea. Starbucks did "buy out" all of Those Tevanna shops and that is what is currently on the menus! They carry Tevanna full leaf. They carry many hot & Iced teas

Guess, I'll have to check it out. I purchased some loose tea before Teavanna went out and it is in a vacuum canister and still as good as the day I purchased it. I have a load of tea in house at the moment so I'm not in a hurry.
