Hi Everyone

Your cover letter is the first impression of you to a potential employer, that being said, I was wondering if anyone has been rethinking how your cover letter appears to others?

Maybe my latest articles could help you with this:

Hi Gwen:

I am in a "training" program that is suppose to increase my chances of getting a job and the subject of a cover letter came up.

To be honest, in the past I have been very LAZY with doing this - but from your articles and from what my instructor said - I better get on the ball.

Thanks for the awesome info smile

Hi Angela

I really did not put alot of preference in personalizing cover letters previous to our economic down turn but now I find that the cover letter is the first part of the application for a job that is seen by the hiring party. With so many applicants for each job it is more important than ever to draw attention to yourself. Finding a career job quickly is a thing of the past and you may have to work your way up to it and work general jobs until then, therefore, it is very important to learn how to write great cover letters.
