Hi Everyone,

I am trying to convince my husband to apply for the Hunting/Fishing Editor Position. He currently runs a successful Outdoors Forum and I think that he would really enjoy being the Hunting/Fishing editor.

How many people here are actually interested in Hunting and Fishing? C'mon everyone help me show him that we need him here at Bella!!!!
I love to fish. I am not a hunter, but will eat what someone else kills. I went fishing with my dad, husband, and 5 yr old son recently. I caught 2 bass and they didn't catch anything. It was classic!!! [imageBellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons. Please use UBB code. Those are some awesome looking Bass Judith!!

I spent most of my summers growing up bass fishing in Ontario, Canada. Don't you just love it when you outfish the men?
Thanks! What really got them was I caught them on a worm I just happen to pick out. I kept getting the plug caught in the trees, so I changed to a worm. I grew up fishing the Flint River and Lake Seminole in South Georgia. We had a hurricane cause flooding in 1994 and it changed the face of the river. I still like to ride and look at it, but it is a different river now. I love taking pictures of it.
And why would you NOT outfish men?

Jan, who could never eat an animal, let alone kill one
I can't think of one good reason I shouldn't out fish the men!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> My husband would say because I can't keep the hooks out of the low branches. But we had 4 on the boat, so I am just glad I only hooked dad one time. He bleed a lot!!!

My rules about eating animals is that I don't want to see you kill it or clean it. I would rather not have a face with the food. But I would eat it anyway if I was hungry. I know we ate deer burger all of college and saved lots of money. My family doesn't hunt as much now, so we don't have the free food. I am not for hunting or fishing just to hurt or kill an animal, but if you use the food I am all for it.
We do not trophy hunt or fish nor do we support it. Anything we harvest we eat.
I know in some states they have places that take food that people donate from hunting for poor families. I think that is a great idea.
That is awesome! I wonder if Indiana has places like that. I will have to look into it.

We have always stopped once we had enough for our family needs.
