I was really happy to purchase my home over a year ago - i love it! It's not much, but it's mine. And very comfy. it's still a great time to be a buyer.

I have a friend in the real estate business who is looking to get his home during 2012 - he thinks this might be near the bottom of the housing market.

No one really knows if it is the bottom of the market. Prices went up slightly in the most recent report so he could be right.

Wow, my next door house is in foreclosure and is only 50k. It's a GREAT house, nice land, fenced, big deck....sigh. Wish I could snap that up.
