Use your food stamps, or rummage around the pantry, to find these multipurpose food products that also clean up around the house.

Home Cleaning WIth Food- Multipurpose Supplies

I know I missed some stuff. Help me out - what else should be added?
Hmmm. I was just thinking to add seltzer water, for cleaning wine out of carpets.
I just added a bunch more notes that I thought of, and now I'm thinking I should divide up the article into 1. home cleansers, and 2. bath and body supplies.

What do you guys think?
Anyone use vinegar or baking soda for house cleaning?
Oh, I use a lot of vinegar and baking soda for house cleaning. My 13 y.o. has asthma, and her doctor actually recommended that I primarily rely on those products for house cleaning.
I haven't compared it myself, but several of my friends tell me that vinegar is more effective than bleach for killing mold and keeping it from coming back. I just switched to vinegar anyway.
It really is cheaper to use these items - especially when you buy them in bulk.
I do prefer vinegar, and I don't mind the smell. To me, it smells clean.

I like using a water/vin dilution in a spray bottle.
I'm using vinegar for house cleaning, it's a lifesaver.
