2 c. crushed pretzels
3 T. sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted

Mix these three ingredients together and press into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 6 minutes. (Watch carefully; pretzels may burn easily). Cool completely.

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. sugar

Mix these three ingredients together until smooth; pour over cooled pretzel crust.

1 (6 oz.) strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water

Mix these 2 ingredients together and cool. Stir in 1 cup frozen strawberries and chill until syrupy. Pour over cheese layer.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

NOTE: You'll probably find this jello dessert at just about any church social you go to in the south. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I like the pretzel crust contrast with the creamy top. You can use various jello flavors for this recipe with a different fruit if you wish.
