[color:"purple"].... what has changed in your life, and/or what have you done to help yourself as you've aged?

I've never seen such a huge question reduced to a one-liner like this before - !
Come highs, come lows, good, bad, up and down, it's all been great and I wouldn't change a single thing!
It would actually be easier to say what hasn't changed.
That would be my name.
My life has certainly changed for the better. What I do now is exercise more. I have taken up dancing to music of the 60's, meeting lots of new friends and that has done wonders for my husband and my social life.
Use much more moisturiser on the skin as it seems to dry out more, watch more what I eat those pounds seem to creep up easily.
That's a tough question to give a short answer too. I would have to say that I've changed as I've gotten older to be more patient and take more time to enjoy life while your healthy and have the chance. I also try to take better care by trying to live a healtier lifestyle and healtier products.
Since I turned 50 in 2000 I have developed a talent for digital art thanks to our ghostly monk! Poetry has started bubbling out of my head, and it gets published quite frequently. I enjoy writing and have articles published from time to time.
At very very close to 65, and after trying to keep life and limb together post Katrina, I find I have lived my life so far just about how I wanted to. All the problem solving I did throughout my life, both for myself and for others, gave me tools to make it through this past year. Living with a pyschotherapist didn't hurt either. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I have always followed my dreams and my passions. I still do.

My patience for people's games. I no longer overlook them as easily as I once did.
I've learned to pick my battles more wisely.
I am still a child I believe. Only when children call me uncle, do I remember that I have aged. Somehow I feel that I have not grown up.

Today is my 47th Birthday. I got a call from my Mom. and the only friend I have I take care of. HE wished me happy birthday.
I am sad, lonley and depressed. I want more friends. I long for a real relationship. I am a complicated woman, but I love the simple life. I live on a small farm , my friends place.
I love animals and am raising several critters.
When I look at the person looking back at me in the mirror, I see someone who looks a lot older than I feel! I really don't feel much different than I've always felt, and I keep an active lifestyle. I'm not afraid to say what I think, and I'd like to think that I've gained a little wisdom over the years.
Try to make my life easier and happier!
