Go to the bar above these post boxes and click on 'My Stuff'. That will be just YOUR private stuff, no one else can get in there. See the 'My Stuff' button? Ok, click on it then drop down to 'Edit Preferences' and click on that. Are you there? Good! Now - scroll down to 'Accept private messages from other users?' Click in the little Yes circle. You can check all your other preferences while you are in there. Let me know when you have done this and then I will send you a private message (PM) to see if it works. :) For the HTML and UBBCode stuff, you have to be a member a little bit longer. :) This is a system default that helps prevent spam and advertising and things like that.
