This season's America's Next Top Model has a contestant (Heather) who was diagnosed with Asperger's at 13.

One thing they ask her about is how she is getting along with the other girls in the house. It will be very interesting to see how she is able to cope with this. I hope the other girls are made aware of what some of her "quirks" might be, so that she has some understanding.

I've missed the past couple of seasons, but I'll definitely be watching this one - probably with Michael!

Whoa! Y'all should see the forums over at ANTM - Heather is causing quite a stir over there!

She did beautiful in the photographs tonight, but it is going to be a hard road for her. Already there are girls in the house unwilling to give her a chance, and acting like Asperger's is "catching".

I hope she can handle the stress.

I forgot to watch it. I have only watched maybe two seasons of this show. One was several years ago and I actually picked the gal who won. Then I watched two seasons ago maybe when there were twin sisters on there that I did not like, but they seemed to last long.

What day of the week is this on again and what is the link to the show/forum?

I just watched this season on YouTube. I really liked Heather, and she seemed to find her place with the girls eventually. She took amazing, fierce, gorgeous photographs. I am sure she has a good career going on now with her talents.

It seemed almost that Aspergers gave her an edge with her facial expressions and unusual body alignments. :-) I was happy with how far she went. She wasn't CoverGirl material, but was certainly High Fashion and Editorial.

I was so incredibly proud of her. She was absolutely gorgeous!

She didn't do "sweet and happy", but then that isn't what the majority of the fashion world wants.

I was really impressed by the way she overcame her eye contact issues - because she was an artist, and wanted so badly to get the eyes correct in her drawings - it made her really look at people in the eyes. This is something that people with autism and Apserger's really struggle with.

I watched only one season of ANTM and the girl who won is now on Y&R - Eva. Is there a link to the you tube? I should look at a few episodes.
