We were in a hit and run last Friday. The guy hit the front bumper pretty hard. There are about 4 vertical scratches and a crack in the bumper. The car is red and a Saturn SE. Is there an easy cheap way to fix this without an insurance claim on our insurance?

I wish I had an idea for you on fixing it. At least with a bumper it's just cosmetic, yes? So you can wait until you might have the cash to handle it on your own?

Many salvage yards allow you to pick and buy (the cheap method). The problem with salvage yards is they may not always have an exact match in color or it may be faded. But, you can also buy the part new. The problem with it being new, is that it usually comes unpainted.
