"whom the gods wish to destroy they give unlimited options" I recently read this awesome quote in the book The Creative Habit and realized this is a huge issues for people trying to lose weight.

People trying to lose weight are bombarded with products, services, and options when all they really need are a few guidelines that work.

If you feel overwhelmed with weightloss and confused with all the crazy and conflicting diet info out there just ignore all of it and stick to these 3 basic tips.

1. eat for energy not for gluttony (adequate amounts of healthy unprocessed foods)
2. move daily in a way that burns calories and is enjoyable (a daily workout routine that boosts metabolism and that you don't dread)
3. start adopting habits that promote health and wellness (stress reduction, fresh air, water, adequate sunlight, quality time with the people you love).

When you ignore the diets, supplements, gadgets, celebrity endorsed programs, conflicting food studies, calorie obsessed experts and nutrition labeling headlines, etc. etc. it's easier to focus on what really matters (and not much else matters than the three things listed above).
