Where is everyone going on vacation this year? I'm taking a combination business/pleasure trip to Portland, OR, and am undecided about anything else. Daughter's wedding taking all time & $$$ right now.
We're going to the East Coast. Maine, Nova Scotia, PEI, NFL, New Brunswick.
That sounds like a fun trip--My boyfriend has family up there. He has a sister in Nova Scotia, brother & mom in Newfoundland. I haven't been there yet, but have seen pics & videos & heard descriptions. He lived in Newfoundland from about age 8 to 15. I love their "slang" -- it sounds totally different, but reminds me of my grandmother's hillbilly language.

HUsband and I would like to find a really good deal in Alaska - a little cruising and a little land..........probably after Sept. 8th 2005.
Both seniors - on a budget - looking for inside cabin...the basics..........
Would like to do this.......any suggestions would help.

As soon as school let out, we took the kids on a road trip to visit my inlaws in Aiken, SC. We stopped over at Stone Mountian, GA along the way and it was a pleasant find. I didn't even know there was so much to do. We then made it to Aiken where we spent a night before traveling to Charleston for a couple of nights.
Our next trip is this week to the Smokey Mtns.
Right before school starts next month, I will take the kids near San Antonio to visit Schlitterbahn Water Park.

I love San Antonio--beautiful place with beautiful people. When I went there, everyone was so friendly and I love their downtown area.
