California Senator Barbara Boxer is the Chairman of the Senate's Committee on Enivronment and Public Works. I just received this press release on her statement at a hearing she convened to discuss the growth of green jobs and global warming: Senator Boxer's Statement

She too believes we can fight global warming by providing more green jobs, which is a huge support to our economy as well!

I agree we need more green jobs. I just worry that the politicians are using the environment and "green" everything to win points for election.

I think it's up to individuals to green up their lives in any way they can. The demand for products will increase the jobs and also people will come up with new and exciting ideas if more and more people demand these things.

I also agree with the senators statements. Anything that can help the environment while providing employment is a good idea. We need to start restoring the planet before it's too late.
