My office was turned upside down when we installed new carpet. Well what an opportunity to rediscover all the files that have been stuffed in every space. Last night I found in the back of a file cabinet an accordion file three inches thick filled with genealogy - emails, notes, etc. I'll have to go through every sheet and see what I need to do with the materials. There is a certain value to original materials because mistakes can be make when transcribing records but just how much can you keep?
