I've had a terrible time getting started compiling family history. One way to overcome the hesitation is to blog. I opened up a free account with WordPress and using some of the suggestions of Amy Crow and #52Ancestors there has been some progress. I pick someone or a family group and began writing a short compilation of what I have. I need to study up on WordPress though to figure out all that it can do and the shortcomings of just the free account vs. a paid account.
