I am a great believer in networking. Never hesitate to join lists that pertain to your surname or areas of interests. But most importantly, PARTICIPATE.

There is an Italian list that is not that active but once in awhile a topic comes up and then a miracle can happen.

I responded to a comment someone made and included my ancestor's comune in Italy. Someone wrote to me and asked for information about my surnames of interest. Tonight he sent me my gg parents marriage record which includes their birthplaces and parents' names. What a wonderful gift on Thanksgiving.
