I have been to La Basilica de La Virgen de los Angeles in Cartago, Costa Rica numerous times. It is an incredibly beautiful structure to rival any of the great European churches. Inside there are rooms with millions of charms offered to La Negrita in gratitude for blessings and answered prayers. The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior. I always leave with a feelings of gratitude, awe and respect.
