Aruba has its own distinct culture, which often includes celebrations.

Color and music play an important role in the majority of cultural events, most notably in the yearly Carnival and Dia Di San Juan (St. John's Day) celebrations.

About 35 years ago my parents went on a cruise to Aruba. From what they said, they never left the boat. What a waste!

fishGranny, did they say why they never left the ship? Or is that "x rated" info (lol).

Nothing x rated. My mom was not the most friendly person and went just because dad won the trip. She was being her normal contrary self.
