Currently running through September 26, 2004 at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco is an exhibition called "Geisha: Beyond the Painted Smile."
I'm going to go next week. They've assembled over 2500 kimonos, paintings, prints, photos and personal accessories used by geisha for the show. I've always found geisha to be soooo elegant, I can't wait!
