I'd have to say one of my all time favorite freeware/sharewares is DAP, download accelerator plus. It speeds up your download time by at least half of what you normally have to wait. In most cases, a download that would have normally taken me 45 minutes, can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes using DAP. It's great and it also has an option in the tools where you can look for other programs, MP3's, games, and more that are freeware/shareware. It's awesome in my book!
