On another example, this double standard is readily seen in the media's roughshod treatment of Sarah Palin compared to the "kid gloves" treatment that Carolyn Kennedy is receiving for her quest to be Hillary's successor for the state of New York. All I can say is that the media has stopped being the purveyor of the truth ever since they have crawled into the same tank as Obama.

It is a big lack of respect to throw shoes...or anything else at a visiting head of state. Period. It is also against the law in most if not all countries. I do not know much about Caroline except to say that I am kind of sick of Kennedys. Maybe she is a good choice maybe not. At least as you read this, she bowed out. As for Sarah....I have heard her speak....in hard to understand, long, run on sentences. She does fine with a prepared speech... However, even a simple question like what newspaper(s) do you read was not answered. I am NOT from Alaska...but curiosity made me look up her hometown newspaper in Wasilla, the Wa-Mu Valley, called the Frontiersman. So I know at least one Alaska newspaper plus several near my city in Florida. (Plus I can name some New York and other papers.) **** Simply put, a lot of us...some Republicans...do NOT think that she is qualified and competent enough to be V.P and one step from the presidency. This has NOTHING to do with her views...which is another story. Most Democrats I know do NOT hate her in any way.
