Last week a dear friend gave me a nice size sago palm. It's VERY root-bound and needs to go in the ground. But I'm concerned about planting it so late. We're on the East Coast only 4 miles from Florida and these plants grow outside everywhere. My neighbor has 2 huge ones. Thanks for any suggestions.

You should not have any problems planting it right away
