According to this study, the smallest divorce rate is among couples where the engagement ring cost $500-$2,000. In other words if your engagement ring is too expensive or too cheap your chances of divorce are higher? What are everyone's thoughts?

You go in with whatever you've got emotionally. Some live for the moment, some are in it for the long haul. Whatever you can afford doesn't depict the longevity. Nice try though

I think the more expensive the ring, the bigger the commitment shown. But then again I have seen marriages last forever that started out with a cigar band.
