Ebay has 2 ways for you to promote yourself and your hobbies and sites!

First, go into My eBay. Use the My World in the center left to customize your basic page with your hobbies, interests and bio. Mention your writings here. This is the page that comes up when someone looks at your name.

Then go into your Preferences and set up your About Me page. This will create a little "me" colored link next to your name. You can put in your photo, bio, favorite links and more!

To give an idea, here's my "me" page -

Remember when I mentioned eBay telling me that I couldn't place BellaOnline's link on my "me" page?

Well I don't want to discourage anyone from placing the BellaOnline link on their me page (in the event they have read the chat log) I had several people in the T&S forum on eBay that were stalking my auctions and reporting them left and right, as well as anything I did.

So I think that was the result of why I was told not to use the link, I think there was someone with inside connections to an eBay employee and they were really messing with me.

Worst case, is someone may report the link an eBay would ask for it to be removed, but I find that highly unlikely, I was just unfairly targeted.

That is just so odd that they would do that to you. I suppose there will always be a few oddballs out there!

I've never had eBay complain about any of my links so I imagine for "general people" they don't pay any attention <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
