I have never sold there, but now that they stopped their fees I have considered it, until I did a search for 'autism' and got way less than I get from eBay. There are usually 16 pages of items and there was only 1 page for Yahoo.

I just sold four of eight books I listed and might now post on Yahoo. Anyone have any experience selling at yahoo. Is it a positive experience? I wonder how they advertise - hard to compete with eBay and their interesting commericals, although it has been awhile since I saw a commercial for eBay.

Hi Bonnie,

Did you have any luck with Yahoo?

I know sellers who will use the other auction sites to buy products and turn around and sell them on eBay for a profit.

Unfortunately the online auction industry is still a supply and demand market, and that's why companies such as Yahoo have not been able to put a dent in eBay's market share.

The only way any company will have a fighting chance is if they do something largely different, they won't be able to compete head to head in the same "Auction model"
