It seems the poor are being out priced and are unable to attend the annual pilgrimage to Mecca again this year.

Prices now range from 2,500 to 5,000. Finding this amount of money is impossible for some people. The pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islam which every Muslim should go to at least once in a lifetime but it should not be impossible to attain because of the cost.

As the royal family of Saudi Arabia are the Keepers of the Keys to Mecca and the Kabba surely they should use some of the money God gave them from oil to subsides the cost of pilgrimage and keep it at a reasonable price so that everyone is able to attend Hajj if they wish.

They have already corrupted the laws of Hajj by only permitting people to travel for one month of the year when God makes it clear in the Quran that there are four months of Hajj.

Many rich families are able to attend Hajj every year but those who are low paid may have to save a lifetime to attend at the prices charged today.

Why does everything these days have to be about making a profit?
