Hello to all.

Today is the day that we remember all the fallen with direct reference to Armistice Day of WW1, but which we now use to remember all of the fallen in all of the conflicts around the world. What words can be used to describe the feelings such days evoke?

Why not grow or plan to grow a container of red poppies as your own personal statement. Not only are the flowers so beautiful and playful, they are just lovely to have around.

Speaking of words to convey universal thoughts, here is one person who says something of what you may want to say.

We Shall Keep the Faith by Moina Michael

Oh! you who sleep in Flanders fields,
Sleep sweet - to rise anew!
We caught the torch you threw
and holding high, we keep the Faith
with All who died.

We cherish, too, the poppy red
that grows on fields where valour led;
It seems to signal to the skies
that blood of heroes never dies
but lends a lustre to the red
of the flower that blooms above the dead
in Flanders Fields.

And now the Torch and Poppy Red
We wear in honour of our dead.
Fear not that ye have died for naught;
We'll teach the lesson that ye wrought
in Flanders Fields.
In Flanders Fields we fought

Go well now.
