Any tips for traveling to Jamaica, West Indies?

I am from there, left when I was age 16. Just wondering what is out there at the moment as I have not been back in about 24 years (sad). And to top it off, family are all in the US.

My boyfriend and myself would love to plan a trip - both in our 50's. He is not from there, but has visited in the past when he was younger.

Alot has changed since I last went.

We would love some ideas for a romantic getaway. Thanks
