As so many of my friends are currently breastfeeding, I thought it apt to look at the breastfeeding culture in Africa. Of course there are so many factors to consider when looking at a whole continent - changing social structures, urbanization and economic growth, but a wide overview of the traditional breastfeeding culture has proven an interesting topic to research.
