Hey guys. Just thought I'd share a yummy lunch idea with you that I stumbled upon. Take slices of deli ham and spread cream cheese (I like chives and cream cheese myself) down the middle and roll them up and eat them. Cream Cheese has little to no carbs and deli ham might have 1 or 2 carbs depending on the brand. It might sound like an odd combination, but it's a very delicious treat.

Some of you might already have heard of this and I appologize if I am being redundant.

Ever since low carb bread became widely available, I've gladly kicked the idea of a breadless sandwich. Although this idea sounds great, I'm all about the deli sandwich. Besides, I'd probably eat about a dozen of them, at great expense to my cholesterol level.

It's definitely important to find balance in any meal you eat and not eat 12 at a time! I definitely agree with you completely on low carb bread. Not only is it REALLY tasty (not dry and spongy like the 'typical' white bread) but it has lots of fiber. Are you male, TechnoSquid? My boyfriend is (I suppose obviously) male and we have been reading a lot about just how incredibly critical it is for males to get a ton of fiber into them. It almost seems impossible to eat as much fiber daily as they say you need, and these low carb breads are GREAT as far as that goes. They in fact pump extra fiber into them to keep the carb count down, which is good in so many ways. It helps my boyfriend lose even more weight plus gives him more fiber for his health.

So yes ham and cream cheese as a light lunch or an appetizer sounds tasty! But as much as Aktins says cheese is "low carb" you also have to keep a general balance in your diet. Eating only cheese all day long wouldn't be very good for you So be sure to keep veggies in there too! Maybe have some salad with your lunch, or pickles or such
