Now that the weather is warming up (95 here in Texas today), what outdoor projects are you working on?

Do you have any exciting landscape projects in the works? How about a new deck? patio? Repairing the exterior of your house? Anyone on the roof? (or should I say "been on the roof" since you really shouldn't be on the roof if you are also on your computer)

We are making a new flower bed in the front of our house. We started on it yesterday....all this because mums were on sale (4" containers) for $0.10 each! I bought a flat of them, all yellow.

We are running electricity and water from the barn to the gazebo (800 ft). The gazebo is in a meadow, sandy, arid, dry as a bone. I have been amending the soil in one spot out there for years, trying to get anything to sprout; too dry. So now <img src="/images/graemlins/rolling.gif" alt="" /> I can finally plant flowers in the meadow! Wild flowers, sun flowers, not sure what else. Perhaps a rambling rose. And bulbs!
