So, what song are you listening to right now? Love it? Hate it? What do you think of it?

Lady Gaga - "Poker Face"

I love this song. The first time I heard it I wasn't too crazy about it, but now it's my favorite song to rock out to in my pajamas when no one is around. Haha.
The Pussycat Dolls - "When I Grow Up"

Love it. Does anyone not like this song? laugh

Ummm, me?

I just don't think this entire album has the same Oomph that their first one did. I've been very disappointed.

Of course, I tend to like things with much harder beats - so that may be what I'm missing here.

I'm totally loving Pink's "So What" and the Veronica's "Untouchable".

I actually sound like Pink - kind of throaty and an alto.

I think the orginial question on this post was what are you listening to - do you love it or hate it. Would love to hear what you think about the songs you are listening to.
Hi Leslie,
I think the orginial question on this post was what are you listening to - do you love it or hate it-wha do you think of it. Would love to hear what you think about the songs you are listening to and an opinion.
Lee Greenwood - "God Bless The USA"
These are all songs I've queued up from our collection, so I must like them to some extent. smile I wish I had the time to really go into why I like these songs, but these are background music while I'm working.

So I may be pulling out this thread for a while, so I can focus on getting my work done. smile Perhaos if I have time at some point in the future, I may come back and participate in this thread.

EDITED TO ADD: There were three songs I listened to today due to what day it is (9/11) - Depeche Mode's "People Are People," Don Henley's "The End of the Innocence," and Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA." I listened to the Celine & Peabo song "Beauty and the Beast," because I heard Disney Channel play a version by Jordin Sparks that I didn't like, so I wanted to hear the original. The others I chose today, because they just had a sound and a modd that I was going for today.
Just a short bit ago, I finished listening to Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses album. I was listening to it, so I could write a review to post at Helium.

This album in Depeche Mode's catalog means a bit to me, because it was during this era that I truly remember hearing anything by the band on the radio or seeing their videos on MTV. While "Never Let Me Down Again" was the first song I remember hearing, I have to admit I didn't really care for it at the time (however, it grew on me as I got older and became more familiar with the band). The song from this album that ultimately sold me on Depeche Mode was "Strangelove" (however, it was the 1988 remix I heard on the radio that sold me, not the version that appears on the album).
Roxette - "The Look"

Love, love, love this song! First heard it back when it was a new song in early 1989 (back when I was in 8th grade). It's one of those songs that just doesn't sound dated. In fact, my husband and I were youth group leaders at our church about 10 years ago. In 1999, my husband had taken some of the kids in our vehicle for a trip, and he played this song while they were in the car. The kids all thought it was a new song, and thought it sounded cool. smile
Erasure - "Love Is A Loser"

Contrary to what the title implies, this is actually a very upbeat and happy song. smile I've just been having one of those days, so I'm really in need of something upbeat. I pulled this up from the collection of MP3s my husband has on his computer, so it's a song we like. smile
Foo Fighters - "All My Life"

All right, going from upbeat pop to a song that rocks! smile I really like this one, and I just need something to help me unwind.
Foo Fighters - "Monkey Wrench"

Another one by the Foo Fighters that I really like. Hard to believe this song is 13 years old now (I was pregnant with my oldest when this was out, and she's turning 13 next month. Oy!)
None but that song I hope I get it from Chorus Line keeps playing in my mind. How does one push forward in the brain!
My daughter is playing Taylor Swift - Fearless over and over LOL!
Oh yay, it's Fearless again.
Madonna - Give It To Me (Paul Oakenfold edit) I just realized all my Madonna except this one song is gone from my itunes. WTH!
Alright I just got Get Together and Celebration back. Not sure where all my other Madonna music is though....I'm missing hung up, jump, music, sorry, ray of light
Monica, sad to see all those Madonna songs disappear from your iTunes. I like a lot of those you listed! smile
I'm getting them back slowly. Listening to Jimmy Eat World The Middle right now. Such a fun song.
With You by Chris Brown. Needed a break from alt rock : )
Male Stripper by Man 2 Man, If you've never heard this crazy song you need to do it at least once. Hilarious!
right now, as in right now, i'm listening on 'from autumn till ashes' the title of the song currently on play is Stories with tragic endings. i usually listen to hardcore and post-hardcore punk and some punk rock, and music that sounds close to them. Sometimes goth and punk. well i also have a choice of emo and screamo bands that i listen to, but generally, i appreciate good music by great bands. im quite picky sometimes.<a href=BellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons.
