My girls are almost 13 and still want to go out on Halloween, so we are dressing up a bit. Need to make something quick to eat because I'll be applying make up - any ideas?

What are your plans for Halloween this year?

Allyson, as this is my son's first year in college life, he plans on spending the weekend at the dorms because he's sure there will be some great Halloween parties. :::Sigh:::

My daughter is still trying to decide if she's going to a friends for scary movie night, or if she's going to stay home.

Either way, my husband and I are hanging out, and he is making :::drum roll::: Tortilla soup - my favorite! So we are definitely "treating" HA HA!!

We don't have children, nor do we have children that come for candy. We are a small street that does not go through, so we don't get any trick or treaters. Ours is tomorrow night, I know that, I hope it doesn't rain, but I think it will be chilly. We are going to have a Cherry Pie, Jeff and I. It's on his Dialysis Diet as Okay!
That will be our treat.

I was surprised my girls wanted to do it this year - they will be 13 in December...lol..they want me to dress up and so I told them I've retired! lol

I always have to treat because Halloween is my husband's birthday. For that reason, he boycotts dressing up, haha. This year we discovered that a new friend's birthday is on Monday, and she's hosting a Halloween party on Saturday. Works out for me!

I need to make something quick to eat too before we set out for the party. In fact, Allyson, I was looking at your chilaquiles or chicken and peppers recipes.
