Good Morning Lights!

Oy, have the forums ever been quiet. I will be the first to admit that sometimes because the lack of participation, I find other places to connect - like Facebook. But I think it's a shame - these forums used to be pretty busy.

What have you been up to?

Life has been good, though filled with challenges meant to be overcome. I've moved my mom in with me and my family, but she does better all the time. Though she actually fell this last Tuesday night and ended up in the hospital. Now she is doing great, and is on her way to a really good rehab center. And THIS is GREAT news as it's something she's really needed all along this last year. So I'm looking forward to her coming home more independent.

My youngest child just graduated high school. I now have to adult children. It's MIND blowing!!

I'm still teaching, and speaking on metaphysics (it's my life).

I'd LOVE to hear from you!

Hi,

I hope your mom fully recovers and everything will be fine when she will live with you and your family. I am happy for your second child. Does he or she wants to go to college or is college not something needed for his or her career?

Here it's the same old; my parents wants to kill me by verbal abuse and I stay here. There's something new though. I learned this Spring that they have to sell this house because they cannot afford it, they never could afford anything but they always found a way through getting in more debt with their bank and this time this won't happen. I will stick around to see if for one time in their life they do something sane, this house they will at least get 200000$ so they should find a less than 150000$ house with no need of renovations then set the rest aside but there's no way that will happen since they are not normal. I have savings aside so I am good and I have zero fear of being homeless and going hungry. I just want to see what they will do. Anyway even if they buy a house they can afford until they die and let's just say that I decide to follow I won't if there will again be a television where the kitchen is because that makes it worst than a prison since dad has spent the majority of his life in front of a television (the irony is that in Ste-Florence which was like a portal to hell and where they decided to become total psychopaths is the only house that had 0 tv where the kitchen was).
Hi Nancy,

It's my daughter that's graduating. And she's still not sure what she'll do. Whether she just decides to get a job, go to a trade school, or even do part time college at our local community college - it's all good. She'll find her way.

Oh that's crazy about your parents and their home. But so good you have a savings. Good luck with all those upcoming changes Nancy!
