I just posted an article relating to phishing and staying safe on the Internet.
So what is phishing? It is pretty much another
word for scam--grrr!! You get an email from what looks like your bank, they ask for a lot information to re-confirm your account, etc. Hopefully, most people are too savvy to give the information and instead get in touch with the bank to find out if they really sent the message. It is likely they have not.
Do you do anything special to keep safe online? Mostly I just the email put into SPAM box, then delete. However, there have been times when I have alerted my bank, etc. I have even gotten in touch with Yahoo! when someone got into my Yahoo! Group. What do you do?
