Where there is a family in need, you can always count on Nanny McPhee. On August 20st, our beloved nanny will be hitting the big screen in Nanny McPhee Returns. To celebrate for her arrival, what better way than to have a little fun before the real lessons begin?



Synopsis: In Nanny McPhee Returns, Oscar®-winning actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson returns to the role of the magical nanny who appears when she’s needed the most and wanted the least in the next chapter of the hilarious and heartwarming fable that has enchanted children around the world.

In the latest installment, Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a harried young mother, Mrs. Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal), who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war. But once she’s arrived, Nanny McPhee discovers that Mrs. Green’s children are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled city cousins who have just moved in and refuse to leave.

Good possibility that the following could give away the plot to someone.

Okay - I'll jump on 7 & 8

7-Stop fighting amongst each other

8-Uncle Phil delivers a fake letter stating that Mr. Green (husband/father) was killed in action.

Beetlemess, your answer to question 7 is correct!

Although, Uncle Phil does perform this terrible act, it isn't done to prevent the tractor payment.

Best I can find is that Phil has gambling debts & wants to sell off the farm (thus no need for a tractor). He lets the piglets escape in an attempt to make Isabel desperate enough to sell the farm. I'll bite on that one...

You bit right! Uncle Phil let the piglets out so that they could not be sold, thus preventing the Green's from having the money to pay for their tractor.
