The Museum of the Moving Image in New York is hosting a special program titled "Pioneering Women in Australian Cinema". The series runs from July 21st, 2022 until August 14th, 2022. Viewers can choose among 20 films directed by Australian women, including the first Indigenous feature film "BeDevil", from Tracey Moffat. Jane Campion's debut feature "Sweetie" is also being screened. Gillian Armstrong has two films in the mix, her debut "My Brilliant Career" starring Judy Davis and Sam Neill, and her exuberant musical "Starstruck". "My Brilliant Career" is also available on DVD from the Criterion Collection. I wrote a review of the film and you can read it on the Drama Movies site - https://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art306276.asp
