The New York Film Festival begins tomorrow, September 24th. Scheduled to play on September 30th is "Prayers for the Stolen", written and directed by Tatiana Huezo. The Spanish-language film is set in Mexico and features three young female protagonists. They are in constant danger from drug cartels who engage in sex trafficking, as well. When I first read the title I thought you were asking for prayers for a stolen trailer - then I realized it was a movie trailer. LOL.

Update: This film is now streaming on Netflix. It is also Mexico's official entry for the Academy Awards.
