The documentary feature "Sabaya" is playing in New York and Los Angeles beginning today. Directed and photographed by Kurdish filmmaker Hogir Hirori, the doc chronicles the harrowing work of a group of Iraqi men and women. They infiltrate an ISIS camp to rescue kidnapped women and girls. "Sabaya" won the World Cinema Documentary award at the Sundance Film Festival. The film will expand nationwide, both in theaters and virtually, on August 6th. Here's a link to the trailer. I did a quick search online and several sources stated that "Sabaya" is not yet available on any subscription streaming site. I will post when I can find the film online or it comes out on DVD.
