"The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open" will debut on Netflix beginning November 27th. The female-centered drama, written and directed by Elle-Maija Tailfeathers and Kathleen Hepburn, will also be screened at the AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles on November 19th and 20th. Starring Violet Nelson and Elle Maija Tailfeathers, the Canadian production tells the story of two women from disparate backgrounds, one of whom is pregnant and fleeing an abusive relationship, who bond over the course of an afternoon.
