I want to know how could I know about IP address of a router connected to my LAN.
Also, I want various server addresses. Like DNS server.
I am using RED HAT LINUX.

Is your router facing the Internet, ie connected to a modem? If so, click
http://www.whatismyip.com/Try
http://www.dnsstuff.com/ for your server Qs.
1st open the run command and inside the command type ipconfig.
You will see LAN information , and gateway is your router.
The gateway ip is your router ip .

Hmm, I should find such things about my PC and internet sometimes.
If you want to know just open your browser any type your query and you will get it.
Following are the steps-
1. Right-click the Windows icon in the bottom-left of your screen, and select "Command Prompt."
2. In the Command Prompt window, type "IPCONFIG" and press Enter.
3.. Find the "Default Gateway" section. The number listed here is your router's IP address.
