Welcome to a "Thirty Day Sun Salutation Challenge" I invite everyone to join me in this challenge. All it takes is one Sun Salutation a day. This is such a great way to practice yoga regularly, learn new Sun Salutations, and have fun encouraging each other.

Thirty Day Sun Salutation Challenge
I did a Sun Salutation yesterday. Today I did 2 Sun Salutations using my own sequence which is real similar to the basic one adding in a couple lunge twist and a few other poses.
I'm in! What a great idea! I am going to my yoga class today, and I am sure I was do a few there.
Well I haven't posted in a couple of days but I have been keeping up with my Sun Salutations. I now have my husband doing them also. When I'm in a hurry I do Sun Salutation A, because it is the fastest.

Sun Salutation A:
Mountain Pose - hands in front of your heart
Upward Salute
Standing Forward Bend
Plank Pose
Upward Facing Dog
Downward Facing Dog
Standing Forward Bend
Upward Salute
Mountain Pose - hands in front of your heart
So I have discovered several things as I am doing the 30 Day Sun Salutation Challenge. First of all I am truly becoming more consistent. Second, I have started adding additional poses and making it a full yoga session.

I'm currently doing 3 Sun Salutation A each day.
