Do enjoy the article Spring Clearing

Heres something yummy if youre in the market for a new dress, look for one with shapewear built in! Quite a few designers are now doing this, so we can look sweet as spring rolls in!

Hey April,

I just got your article and loved every bit of it, after reading I did go through my closet and said goodbye to some things that had been sitting there. Nice article! Stop by I just put out my new article on disaster/emergency and I want to get your feedback! Thanks for posting!

Hi T,

Thank you for the encouragement, and I have to smile because going through the closet is not easy. You go lady!

I sure will stop by the Daughters site and check you out. You give such great advice.

Great article April. I just did this all weekend and I feel so much better. I tossed so many things that I haven't worn in years, stuff that was too big or too worn out, and especially things that do not reflect who I am these days. It was truly liberating and I do not plan on buying anything to replace these items unless I really need it. I gave it all to goodwill. I also did the same with books, magazines, and some decorations in our bedroom.

Like you I feel that giving this stuff away is a way to invite new things into my life. I really enjoyed your article and knowing that somebody else out there shares the same view : )

BTW, my version of the fireman's costume was a micro-mini dress with a superhero girl emblem on the front. I used to wear it with platform lace up boots to go clubbing back in my 20's. I had the whole Lady Kier look going like you wouldn't believe! I had not worn this dress in so long but I held onto it because it was so cute and it reminded me of my younger days. I finally let it go so some kid out there can enjoy dressing like a superhero.

Monica,

Thanks for the laugh! That supergirl dress bit is too funny smile

I'm so glad you mentioned that letting go of some things paves the way for others to come into our lives. And I'm going to do as you said -- no buying anything unless it is necessary.

I love that you mentioned goodwill too, places like that and the Salvation Army do so much good. They even employ people.

Thanks for stopping by!
